Go to a place this morning to pick up a different BOL so I can deliver to the customer. So it’s 92 miles round trip to pick up a piece of paper. The place is on a dead end street with no where to turn a truck around. Have to pull in one driveway then back across the street into the other. Hydrants on both corners and snow piled up 10’ in every direction.

Parked in the lot is 2 Prius, 1 Tesla and a hybrid Cadillac Escalade. You know, because of the environment?

I jokingly mentioned hypocrisy to the gal I got the BOL from and she gave me a blank stare in return. “Well the state won’t pay us unless it’s picked up and delivered in the same state.......

No skin off my nose, I get paid well to do it. Just makes me glad I’m closer to the end than the beginning.

Made it back to New Lisbon, WI. I’ve had enough weather for today. 80 miles to delivery in the morning.

“Now make sure you boys tarp them shingles.”
