Hey @RedForeman I need to get a dash cam and uncle pete said you have done extensive research. Which do you recommend?

That's a great strategy! I'll have to give it a try. It's funny how they all just need one more dollar!

    None of them.

From the user friendly dept, the Garmins are probably the most durable. The one I bought a couple years ago did capture a fake Frenchman from Quebec tear my hood off at a fuel island, so it earned it's keep. However, it did not record audio. Which prevented me from making a Corbin KY city cop famous.

After Corbin, I upgraded to a 3 cam model from Falcon. It's actually a pretty nice camera compared to the plasticky crap sold at truck stops. A korean made white box that's probably sold under a lot of brands. It's probably held up the best and does a decent night shot. I been running it 2 years and it resets itself when I hit a hard bump. Not sure if the socket is loose, or if it's the camera. Been meaning to zip tie the plug into the socket to see, but keep forgetting. Never hooked up the 2 side cameras, because

First signs spring is coming. Seen an apparently intact and operational Hardly Ultra Glide being towed on a lawn trailer down I-75 SB. Didn't realize trailer week was that close. I guess they weren't up to crossing the frozen tundra from up north (Tennessee) on a bike made for such a journey.

One of our city garbage trucks must’ve needed to do a Regen on this mornings route!

These are the ones we run in all our trucks. I'm sure there are newer better ones out. They haven't given us any problems.
