Ya as I remember from School 80 ppl attempted to cross and 40 ish made the crossing. Half way a huge storm rolled In. They made shelters out of the canvas that covered their wagons. No one strong enough to make a log cab in or make it to the cabins already built.
Wasnt a pretty sight.

 

You guys might remember last year we picked up a cheapo car for a girl our daughter was friends with. Well long story short, she couldn't keep the car. Her junkie parents were going to throw her out if she didn't give it up. If it was me I would have moved out. But go figure why people do what they do. She decided to stay living in their house.

And now I have a little s h i t box car to run around in. I might take it with me to Texas next week, that way while I'm down there working I have a car to get around in between loads.

Ya know, it’s people like you the reason that ole boy at the TA in Amarillo still ain’t been able to raise enough cash to fix his pregnant wife’s car after tryin all these years.

It's not bad. It's going to be a lot better when I'm not confined to the truck stops for meals and stuff.
