Oh ok. I gotcha. No butter on my steak, especially not that stuff.
@Hurricane69 I know you're a machine man. One of the other things I bought at the auction today was this old Cincinnati grinder. I only really bought it for the heavy ### pedestal it was mounted on to mount my 3/4 hp single phase 8" grinder on. I was told this one didnt work.
Well I got it home and got to tinkering. I noticed it had a regular 220 plug on it. Dug around and found it said 1hp, but it didn't say if it was 3 phase or what. The plug threw me off.
So I fixed the broken wire inside, plugged it in and that dam 50 year old grinder came to life! I stuck a piece of 1/2" tool steel I had laying around trying to bog it down, it never even phased it. It's a 10" and Works awesome. My question is, I'm surprised it's not 3 phase, so was there very many single phase motors made for that sort of industrial stuff? Everything I always see is almost always 3 phase . This thing is massive. I'm guessing around 300lbs![]()
