Where is everyone #5

Very well spoken. My first truck,pic from 1974,69 COF4070A. NTC-335.Had very little in my pocket,but enough mechanical aptitude to give it a whirl. Retired a few years ago after 42 year career as a one truck,one trailer O/O. Not rich,but comfortable,thanks to trucking. Wouldn't sell my past memories for a million bucks. Got lucky I guess.
Still married to the gal in the pic,too.

 

Yep,could have been a IH Red Diamond 501,too. Lot of them around then.

I’m going to. Be working on a project over the next little while, and I’m going to be bugging you on IH information if I may.

 

And the fact you still have the same wife says a lot about your wife. You and I are just very lucky.

 

You never need to stf up here. You may not know it, but there’s a handful of folks on here (and you’re one of em) that guys like me hold in high regard. You guys have forgot more about truckin than I’ll ever know.

 

I hadn’t seen a lone star rig in a while, but this’n is sure a sharp looking rig.
