It's my favorite stop in New Mexico. IMG_20190308_073113.jpg

Chili Hills up the street is pretty good too if you don't mind parking with the crowd at the TA.

    Now time for breakfast

Some people age like fine wine, I age like a ham sandwich.

There is a girl at a elevator close by, very nice but looks like she got hit with a hot sack of nickels then tried to fix with old spackling and paint. With sharpie eyebrows. Wow back off on the war paint. Even a fuggly girl looks better without all that sheet.

My setup is quiet. 18 foot of RG8, General Lee with the RX turned up on a tone generator. 6 foot skipshooter tilted forward that keeps my swr at 1.3 or so.

I put a 2 pill fatboy in here. Barefoot I usually talk to my friends on base stations about 70-80 miles max. This morning, my friend in Philadelphia near where Wore hauls feed was talking to me in Olive Branch, just over 150 miles.

Its not skip, I hear him all the time up here. He's not moving my needle but the receive is so quiet I can hear him and talk back and forth. This skipshooter is the best antenna I've ever run, and it was only 28 bucks.

I'll be dammed. I thought they closed shop a long time ago. I wonder what a paint job from them costs today. Have any idea?
