    Quick lesson, 396 and 402 was a different casting. There was never a 4 bolt main 396. There were 402 that was 4 bolt sold and badged as a 396. Due to gm policy till 1970 limiting midsize, and compact to under 400 cu in. 402 availible in full size and pickups. Nova, Chevelle, Camaro 396 was available 325, 350, 375 hp. Only the 325hp was a 396. 1970 they lifted the rule.

    Actually the older version, thing is built..... well you know, “like a rock” :) Still has factory pinstripes on the axles, and came with matching spare wheel in case I came upon a “Found On Road Dead” that needed assistance..... :rolleyes::D

    My little brother in Maryland just traded in a Ford I thought about getting from him. I know it’s just a package but..... F250 power stroke with the Harley Davidson trim done in black with blue stripes. It was nice.

    Only way to go on a big block in my opinion with a center squirter Holley that's been touched up. 11.1 TRW forged slugs a crank from a Truck motor a solid lift Lunati cam breathing through a set of 088 heads was a cheap strong combination back in the day
