Very smart. Oilfield territory. If you need any sort of mechanical help, they're going to hit you for 3X the hourly rate and double the mileage rate and there's a 3 week wait. It would quickly empty out your funds. This is one of those things that beancounters can't ever seem to factor in. When you see a thread about truck recommendations and they're talking about either buying an old mega fleet truck or a Volvo, you may as well ignore them. Beancounter is going to try to go into the area with a bottom end truck to rub elbows with you. What's even worse is, he may even try to go in for a cheaper rate because he runs a cheaper truck.

Same can be said about any aspect of life. How many times have we called someone a window licker or moron? Is that not a form of being holier than thou? And it’s socially acceptable until it comes to religion. But the fact remains, some people are window lickers and some people do have a closer relationship with God. So by definition they are holier than me. I’m as guilty as the next guy, but if you are honest with yourself you see we all do it
