Problem with the Hayes was they were built so good you never actually needed another one.

I just found a dripping radiator tank. Its been replaced under warranty twice. Guess its time to get parts someplace different. 104 miles from home and at least 5 more loads booked. Fun being a owner op huh?

Sounds like a pretty good outfit.

99% of the time it's easy work. Gas stations the biggest problem is the public. Had a guy cuss me up one side and down the other once cause my "big truck" wasn't supposed to be there. This was while I had hoses down and dropping. Sometimes gotta wait a few for folks to move their cars, takes 15 to 20 minutes to drop, faster if they got big tanks.

Bulk stations are nice. Mostly you're out there by yourself, just do your deal and roll. Long 3" hose from your tank to pump, short 3" pressure hose from your pump to their pipe. Open the right valves and let er run. Only problems are when the customer doesn't maintain their equipment and you cant get a reading off their tank. Blow one of them it's an experience you'll never forget.

Winter can be frustrating dealing with frozen valves and such. And stations that don't keep their wells cleaned off, and the customer expects you to just somehow know where everything is when ya never been there.

Only time it gets physically tough is if you gotta unload somewhere real muddy, like 2' deep. Mines are bad about that. Try dragging 25' of hose through that crap you'll be glad you ate your wheaties.

Only reason I ain't still there is the company went through a management change, things got kind of stressful so I bugged out. I really think you'd enjoy the work.
