Can you make something else fit? If not a car part, something that fits a tractor or other small engine? I got no suggestions since mine are Tripacs. I have a 105A AC Delco CS130 like goes on a late-90's caprice fitted on mine. Less than $100, but did have to buy the regulator pigtail and fit a new belt. On the tripac you have to swap the fan with the pulley since they turn backward (accessory drive pulley is on the "back"). Cheaper and a lot better than the gold plated TK 42A original for $250. Definitely check rotation along with dimensions before you take yours apart, should you think about doing an "upgrade."

I got a reman Delco for $262. Honestly as expensive as that sounds, it's not bad for oilfield country...and I didn't have to order it in and wait. I'll have the old one rebuilt when I get home and have a spare.
