I suffered until the time was right and we were ready. It was the best decision imo, although it was hard to not give in to our “want to’s”

I wasn’t suggesting you wait or change your plans (although I think your making another smart choice). I was just pointing out that if it did get set back, so what? What’s it going to hurt?

BTW I was always a cheap skate about buying a house. Wife always wanted more house. I usually won those battles. In hindsight I wish I would of bought a nicer house earlier in life and just stuck too it. Instead I’ve owned several I never really loved.

Sad truth is wont be long an the ol long hood way of life won't be nothing but a memory for most. A few trailer queens and rust heaps in some crazy ol mans front yard be alls that is left. Most will say why won't that ol ####### sell that he ain't ever gonna do anything with it. They is a difference in a job an a way of life.
