Sometimes you just gotta suck it up and smile for her pard. No doubt he is right proud of himself. That's how it usually goes anyway the worse they smell the better they like it. Good news is of course nothin last forever even the stank

Well had a small siesta, its 430 am and 240 miles or so to go. Gonna have to mash on it

 

Oh my word. I'm down about 17lbs in the past month, I've been staying away from those goodies...maybe once I hit the 50lbs mark I'll treat myself

Tug, those Z springs suck, had one break on me recently, always loose U bolts....someday I'll cut mine off and replace it.

After a time or 300 having a dog that loved killing him a Ohio Pole Cat. You start trying different stuff.

 

Getting more from steam would mean adding pressure to the fuel (steam) yes lol.

There was a Case traction engine that exploded a number of years ago in northern Ohio or Michagan. The remains of it was behind a mans barn that I was visiting while working up around Fostoria. I’m thinking it was 110 HP? I was told a little girl got hurt or died from it. After talking to some friends that were familiar with the engine and the owner, it seems the operator was warned..... he never headed the warning. The engine was in good shape, just operator error, they let the water get to low in the boiler. With today’s technology, steam powered vehicles could be pretty neat built with more modern materials and dummy proof switches lol.

 

I think there was a big one blew up at medina county fair some years back killing a number of people. Maybe 20 years ago?
