Just based on driving a Volvo....if you like a quiet, smooth ride they are hard to beat imo, but those gigantic mirrors will hide a city bus a block away.

If it has a magneto it can run forever if you keep fuel in it. the batteries on gramps old 6 volt generator that ran the lights and radio on the farm only "jump started the mag" until the engine got up to speed. that darn thing thumped away in the "engine shed" until 1961 when he finally got power to the place. he had to pay for 8 or 9 miles of wire and poles because that was as close as they got to the farm. I was 6 years old when we went to gramps place for the annual upland game bird hunt and the thump was missing.

 

just be happy that happened at home, not at the other end of your trip and you would have to bring him back to the house.

 

Even has the license plate zip tied on all ready. You must be headed towards Chicago?

I’d say he’s good enough? Fender could be black by the time he gets there? Or at least a fairing falling off?

 

And that huge windshield lets turkeys in.
