I think the 2nd paragraph is easier than the 1st!! A friend of our family had 20 trucks for 2 years and finally got fed up and sold the whole fleet except for his. Couldn't believe all he had to go thru.

Here's a bit of a weird question. I know it's not the right crowd for it, but... previous gen Cascadia or CXU613 Pinnacle for interior ergonomics/comfort and sleeper layout? Mid-roof of course.

So would have been the 2 farms and everything with them. His 7 blood children that wanted nothing to do with it, made sure it sold high dollar at auction. I didn't even go. Was not worth any trouble.

I’ve known guys that’s done the same thing. And they all say they enjoy it a lot more now with just the truck they drive.

I think it’s too much like a JOB when ya have to deal with employees. Lol.

I'm involved in the hiring process to fill in the open driver position where I'm at. First interview was a bust for the guy as soon as he walked in the door. Couldn't even be bothered to dress like he was trying to get a job. We talked to him for about two minutes before shooing him out the door.

Second one... Dressed like he wanted a job but I knew pretty quickly that he wasn't going to stick around if he got hired. No way he was looking to do what the driver here has to do. His body language told me all I needed to know when I explained how physically demanding and faced paced the job is.

If/When I can start my own gig there's no way I'd ever go beyond just me..myself..and I.

I'd get too frustrated with having to wade through a legion of dirt bags to find a decent hand.
