    No Sir not different. There are 4 different wide front axles and 2 are adjustable. Then the tricycle or narrow front.

    In the VA series tractors there is .... VA VAC VAI VAO VAH VAS VAC13 & VAC14.

    VAO & VAC14 shared the short gearstick that tilted forwards. Both are also the only 2 of this series that the operator straddled the transmission. All others the floorboards were at the top of the transmission like our VAI in the pictures.

    In these 2 pictures you see a VAC14 & a VAC13. Notice how low the man sets on the VAC14.... seat, steering wheel, and floorboards are all lower than the VAC13.

    @MACK E-6 need some tech talk. Picked up an M&P 15 Sport 556.. First AR. Bought it a few week ago, took it home haven’t looked at it. So, I’ve been watching AR videos for a few weeks and it seems as if half the people that buy them go mod crazy. Now, although I am not half the Man I was, I am still strong enough to lift the average woman with 1 arm. Not bragging...it’s just that most of the mods these guys do, they do to lighten the gun under 5 lbs. Now, it’s been my experience that a lighter gun kicks harder. I shoot a 12 gauge Shockwave for fun and I know there’s no possible way any AR could ever kick as hard as a 5 lb pistol running 12 gauge magnum slugs. ( bought it and booked out...never fired it).But I usually prefer a heavier rifle for longer range shots. Anyway, I don’t see the need to build a lighter weight rifle.

    Anyway, what sort of things add to the performance of the weapon?

    The top pic is a VAC narrow front (random google pic).

    Middle picture is another of my VAC wide front with the elusive 300 roundnose behind it.

    Bottom pic... notice the drag link goes back to steering box under the dash? This tractor is 1951, last year for this sheet metal.

    With the introduction of the VAC13 & 14 in late 1951, the steering box was moved out front under the radiator. Sheet metal was changed and dash is different since the steering shaft now goes through the dash.

    The predecessor to the VA Tractors was the V series.... V VI VO & VC. VC is the only narrow front.

    This is a VAH. VAH: High clearance

    VAO: Orchard
    VAS: Offset... like Farmall Cub.
    VAI: Industrial. 4th gear is road gear
    VAIW: Tug / Airport Mule.
