Home. Done had a nap and got hot coffee in hand. Finished up the Camargo job last night. Looks like we may have a break in the action so I can get some work done on the Pete.

If it snags your belt buckle when you look down, it's probably 'bout right.

Even if I can't get it to unplug, I'll just run it in. Worst they can do is take my compliance bonus which I won't get because I'm leaving early.

Oh, I drove in violation and you are taking a chunk of my compliance bonus? That sucks, here's my notice.

Dont burn a bridge if you dont have too.

My boss seems to be reading "trucking for dummies" and doing all the wrong things for someone with a new authority. Crap paying short haul into an area with no freight coming out? Booked it and is excited because the broker wants to throw more of them at us...like no ####, they cant get anyone to run lumber down there for #### pay.

What I dont get is they keep asking my opinion and then ignoring me. She literally had some random broker call her after getting their DAT account set up and booked the very 1st load offered.

Neighbor hired a dispatcher with “all kinds of experience”. Paid good money to get her. Her husband has been running a truck for 20 years. Bla, bla, bla.....

3 weeks later she is just waiting for the phone to ring from TQL. TQL is literally dispatching the truck. One TQL load to the next, to the next, to the next. Then she got them signed up for factoring at %6. They thought that was the greatest thing ever.

Cost the company 3 of there 5 drivers before they fired her. 6 months later they were out of business.

He's got some bona-fide experience with those facial extensions. He can hold 8 beers at the same time with his. Kinda like Capt Davy Jones of the Flying Dutchman in the Pirates of the Carribean movies.
