Decided to wash my truck only to find that the pressure washer isn't here.

Has anyone used window tint on just the top 8" or so of the side windows? I was thinking about doing that instead of the stainless steel pieces guys put there. I just want something to block the sun.

 

Your truck is still pretty new? I don't think you'd have much trouble. I pulled an exhaust manifold off a 5000 hour engine last week and didn't even gall a single thread. Just take it easy, work the bolt back and forth if it feels like its getting tight. They will squeak and make horrible sounds but that's just what they do. If you've got studs instead of bolts, a little penetrating oil on the exposed threads will help. If they're bolts, penetrating oil will do nothing.

 

You just blew my mind. My A cab is gutted apart from steering wheel and pedals. I'm going to see if I can relocate the motors outside or inside so they'll park at the bottom instead!

I’ve come to like my air wipers. It drives the DOT cops batty when I turn one side on at a time and then they start flapping at different speeds. It makes my day.
