I think you're right. It was also harder for him to get his CDL than most people because he's got a hearing problem and was discouraged by family from even trying. I'm not positive but I think that hearing issue is severe and has been since birth ?
Not being mean here but I don't think he realizes how disruptive his constant diatribes can be to others. I doubt that is his intention.

Zeviander must be applying at a real uptown type outfit if they're actually road testing him.

Ugh. How do some people manage to breathe and walk at the same time ? I'm not talking about Fluffy. There's a new person here who is complaining about rebuilding his engine two or three times within two years because he mixed two different additives. Twice. Or three times ? It's difficult to read. He's talking about Motorkote in a couple of other threads. the french texan trucker I believe he said.

  9. We had plenty of guys who don't drive anymore. But if you don't know a subject don't wing it. Some guy may think his Volvo stepdeck can handle 52k since x1 said it was so...
You know as well as I open deck is not for the faint of heart. With the amount of companies , attempting to expand into other divisions. Open deck and tanker are two you don't just throw a steering wheel holder into the drivers seat.

I will admit the heavy haul items a bunch of you have hauled. And equipment you use still interests me alot. But I'm not about to start talking like I stayed in a Holiday inn Express last night.
@Grubby posted about a unit on an open deck. I have pieces in our yard I have loaded and moved. But I am eager to learn if the comments I read are what and how I would of done it.
I am in no way going to post details that are gonna get some one into trouble, just to stay in the game...

Sorry been up all night , running on coffee alot of coffee. My hours have shifted to the weird side of the dial. I'm learning medical stuff I could go a lifetime with out ever knowing.

At my current place of employment, it was just a formality. Essentially, "can the guy drive stick well enough to get to Regina?" If yes, put him in the seat and get him going. When I was giving them, I actually failed guys fairly often.

The new place, not only is it a road test, it's apparently two hours long and is very involved.
