Ok I remember buying a handle of Beam's 8 star whiskey, should have mixed, and never did. Side note they have no connection to Jim Beam.

I just read that Chappelle was inspired in part by a grandfather of his who he based Clayton on. Grandfather was born in 1911 and was blind from birth and mixed ethnicity. Supposedly was on a bus the day that MLK was killed and heard a group of upset guy's asking " What you doing on this bus Cracker ? " and was thinking " Oh, this Crackers in a lot of trouble " before he realized that HE was the Cracker, because he was half white.

Anybody else ever read that before ?
