Well let's see if we can't make it to IN by Friday morning, maybe stop by the house tomorrow night...

Things are changing at the plant I load out of now. Started a new process at the guard shack, more paperwork to fill out including having your DL checked by security. Line of trucks is getting longer do to time required in the security office now. I have stood and waited before and now it’s HORRIBLE waiting.... some of these drivers speak NO English and security has to get a interpreter on the phone to communicate with them. Monday morning security guy took one driver outside to talk with him, driver had one of those things wrapped around his head like Aladdin. Security was irritated when he came back in, told his coworker that he (security) made it clear the driver had to figure out a way to wear a hard hat or he would throw him out of the plant!! Guess we’ll see if there’s a bunch of rule bending in the future. -
Well.... there’s my heavy

Delivered, dropped off the semi n paperwork. Picked up the wife and took her to her doctors appointment today.
Walked across the street to fire up the pickup in the shop. Landlord wants to know if I want 3x the space in the shop ( the whole rest of the shop) for $200 more a month?

That's very frustrating. If they cant speak English or wear shoes, or put a hard hat on.... I dont think shippers should cater to them at all.
Last year I took a military truck out to the base at Toby Hanna, PA. There was a line to get in to unload because some foreigners in a Volvo with a flatbed load of stuff could not get in the gate and past security.
Reason? They neither one were American citizens. Barely spoke any English at all. I at first was getting aggravated because of having to wait, but after I got in and got cleared to enter the base , I thanked the gaurds for standing their ground and not letting them in. Track suits, flip flops, no clue or care about the job or rules.
As I left one guy was going up to trucks coming in and out offering money if someone would take their loaded trailer in for them and unload it.
Nope says I, get your #### together and stop being a nuance out here. Bye byeZeviander, cke, IH Truck Guy and 20 others Thank this. -
They posted a picture. Made up a story about said picture. Purposely led the Reader's astray.
I don't know all the facts.
However I am under the impression that this was posted in a common site, not some scummy place or site.
From what I recall he had already told the non-existent girl to go home and seek her parents. She ( the cops) refused. ( of course. How else could they entrap a concerned person ? Specifically a adult male ? )
Only then did he agree to meet this" person ". From what he told me, it was only to try and persuade " her " to go home and seek her parents.
The police arrested him for showing up. That alone is NOT a valid reason to arrest someone.
Now I only know what he told me about the situation.
I have no clue what the exchange of messages between the " two " were.
But regardless, there was NO victim.
And I'm unwilling to give the police the benefit of the doubt. Especially with the other times I have seen people be falsely accused. It's probably happened to all of us. It's happened to me many times.Zeviander, tony97905, peterbilt_2005 and 15 others Thank this.
