I hope to see pneumatic trailers in use for a long time. At least most of those guys are in it with some investment. Box haulers are the Swift/cr england stereo type of the industry.

Cant fathom I never ran into you at Attica, or Fremont. Spent lots of years in the pits at both. Used to take my work service truck and tow buddys truck in. Did a little work or welding for lots of people.

You fellas that live up north (like north of the Oklahoma/Kansas line lol) this Okie has bought a truck that has obviously ran in the salt and has some rust on the frame. They painted over it but you can see the pits. It’s only from the sleeper back, and I don’t think it’s anything to worry about, EXCEPT there’s quite a bit built up under the fifth wheel assembly and it’s got it bowed up and the upper frame flange bowed down.

What exactly is proper procedure once I get it taken apart? Plan is to knock the loose rust off and then paint with POR-15. Anything else I need to do? I expect the frame flange will straighten back out?

Seems like I remember @SAR talking about this once upon a time, but I can’t find it now.
