My dad had sent it. We are leaving tomorrow morning for home. I'm glad I switched flights cause on Monday everything was cancelled and closed.

I had my share of near misses with those hauling mulch up to Ephrata PA in a dump trailer early in the morning. Be careful cresting the hills.

    That looks rough.....JEALOUS!!!!!

I'm gonna go out in the cold and finish up this little wheel seal/brake job on the trailer and seeing if I can find something to haul tomorrow.

Enjoy your last day in the sun!!!!

So here's a Q for the peanut gallery: I modified my plans of getting a moffet equipped flatbed trailer, bc most everything I do open deck wise works better on a step. So I set up to get a top mount bracket which sets on the deck at the rear of the trailer. Now I been debating buying a used moffet for $4-5k or getting a completely factory refurbished one for $31,500 plus freight.
I feel like it's a pay now or pay later kinda thing. What's yalls thoughts on the matter? New or used?

I'd vote for one of each....then you have a backup if one goes down. The used one you can tinker on as you go.

I can see that. Figured if I buy used I'd likely get a couple. Buying a refurbished should eliminate the need for a extra unit.

You're welcome!!! :D:D There's a few more tumblin tumbleweeds headed your way.
I ran a Mercer driver out to Pratt to get parts this afternoon. Coming back to Hutch, the wind folded my driver's side mirror halfway back to the window. After looking at myself in the side mirror for a while, I told myself, "Self, you are one handsome devil.":cool:

I work under the philosophy with equipment that puts money in the bank I need to limit the high maintenance stuff. I run old trucks but my trailer I bought new. I always make sure mama has at least one newer car so I know she gets to work and has a backup. If I get to much stuff to work on all the time I get burnt out and that takes all the fun out of it and makes me hard to live with.

I have a little experience with lift trucks....but not the type you are looking at. Typically motor rebuild at 5k hours. Seals are always a issue and yours is gonna be out in the elements.

Just have to way the odds to make the right choice for you.
