That works good till winter. Then when you take the bungies off they stay stretched and are too long for the pipe.
I just tie them in bundles and then cuss getting em undone the next time... -

I did that for a month.
Then I did the pipe thing for a month.
Both have down sides.
@blairandgretchen pointed out that if you pile them up n throw them just inside the last roll on your tarps, you have them accessible when you need them, n protected when you don’t.
I keep a few loose for the odd time I’m not tarping but need to bungee something. -

The former Meltonian that recruited me to SPD won a really nice enclosed headache rack in a raffle... needless to say I was quite jealous when I ran into him at Arlington a few weeks ago.
Straight up slick and much more room than my open rack :/ -
