I saw an old Marmon pulling a water transport this morning. Cool truck right there. When did they stop making them?

That was the year I wised up (and also saved a stack of money) by titling and registering my trailers in Maine.

The best part about yesterday’s run was I can do it under 8 hours and avoid that pointless 30 min break. However, being stifled by coworkers who don’t own tire thumpers, flashlights, tools, common sense, work ethic.... Nay I digress.
I decided to stop on the way back around 9:30 am and have breakfast at the Tin Lizzie Cafe in West Point, Ms. Everything there is unhealthy and recommended. They have a great breakfast 1/2 lb bacon cheeseburger and French fries. It’s actually a truck stop, so if any of you are headed to the steel plant in Columbus Ms via 45 south, they are in town on the highway. Full menu all the time.

$99 one time and it never expires. Transferrable to a new owner for $10 if you sell the trailer. -
Transfer process was painless and cheap as well. Long story, but I transferred the plate off a totaled trailer to a new one. The registration slip was also lost along the drama with the old trailer. I think the replacement registration plus the transfer fee was less than $10 altogether. -
Grubby, MagnumaMoose, BigBob410 and 11 others Thank this.
