Been a long day. Of all the crap I wanted fixed is a broke step on drivers side. Just wasnt enough time in the day.
-
They got away from that for a long time, but I have seen it a couple times in the past year. Then again, I like to run from 1-2 pm till almost sunup, so I usually ain’t on location when most folks consider it lunch time. Lol.

When he says BA antenna, is he talkin bout one them dipoles for mounting on a balcony rail without a pole?
If so, 30 miles is dang sure impressive. -
Hillbilly Moms Letter
Dear Son, I'm writing this slow 'cause I know you can't read fast.
We don't live where we did when you left.
Your dad read in the paper that most accidents happen within twenty miles of home, so we moved.
Won't be able to send you the address as the last Arkansas family that lived here took the numbers with them for their house, so they wouldn't have to change their address.
This place has a washing machine. The first day I put four shirts in it, pulled the chain and haven't seen 'em since.
It only rained twice this week, three days the first time and four days the second time.
The coat you wanted me to send to you, Aunt Sue said it would be a little too heavy to send in the mail with them heavy buttons, so we cut them off and put them in the pockets.
We got a bill from the funeral home, and it said if we didn't make the final payment on Grandma's funeral bill, up she comes.
About your sister, she had a baby this morning. I haven't found out whether if it is a boy or girls so dont know if you are an Aunt or Uncle???
Your Uncle John fell in the whiskey vat. Some men tried to get him out, but he fought them off playfully, so he drowned.
We cremated him and he burned for three days.
Three of your friends went off the bridge in a pickup.
One was driving and the other two were in the back. The driver got out. He rolled down the window and swam to safety.
The other 2 drowned. They couldn't get the tailgate down.
Not much more news this time.
Nothing much happened. If you don't get this letter, please let me know and I will send another one.

But how did the painting turn out? -
Yessir, he has that antenna, an Antron 99 at about 25 feet to the base and a Maco 5 element about 120 foot. He's low elevation so he needs the height.
Wookie and Redman are 30 miles away, 3 watts is about 70 miles, and so is Lodi.
When I went to that cb break two weeks ago, I got to meet folks I hear all the time, from just north of Baton Rouge to as far north as Hamilton, Alabama. These guys can talk 200 miles apart every day like its nothing, most running those Maco 5 elements.
I was just talking to a guy on a 5 element about 60 miles away, he was putting 5 db on me. I can hear him another 30+ miles if he spins north. -
Ok men, this is to funny. Have a laugh and get to work. Speed safely.

No sir, got genuine peterbilt step under the bunk. Incase I get by @1951 ford place before I get back this way.
I do not wish to talk about the painting project. Phone book is full of able bodied painters that need work. I ought to be doing something useful that I'm good at.
So I had this cool video idea since its pitch ### dark out of my ol B model coming to life then the lights coming on and me steppin back to take it all in. But some dip turd hit the Jake instead of the lights and ruined a perfect thing. Such is life
