I remember a foundry that used very large carbon columns into a pot bigger than a house to melt metal into ingots. When those are active the thunder and lightning present exceeded my ability to comprehend and that was where my deafness came into play I was able to continue functioning around it. If you can imagine the electricity that had to be forced through something that refuses to conduct the stuff... until it does conduct it... it's awesome. Surely God would be offended that we dare harness that kind of power on earth.

They're sitting there with facts and figures, trying to use these to alter reality. They were hoping that he would play along and go according to the stats they were quoting and their sources. And if he did, they would have demonized him as an 'evil man in the patriarchy.' But do you notice that when he points out that their stats aren't the reality, they still try to stick with them? So here I will sound like a Ahole. Might be a few agree and disagree. Few years back when I was still a fireman, I was working on becoming a instructor. So we have a class that had 3 females in it. Now I have met females that can do the job. Its not like that. But I have 3 going into a live burn and I ask them "why do you wanna do this"? Ones answer was to spend more time with BF! I said your going in with me. Well about 35 minutes in and its hot. Really fricken hot because its a training burn house and the floor is metal. The boys down stairs had it rolling good. Pitch black second floor I tell her "Your 130lbs, Im 275lbs plus gear, Im hurt how do your get me out". Her answer was to cry, ball, and go full panic. I ended up hauling her out. I was called a Ahole. My job was to keep people, "people" alive. Not give a sheet about gender, color, or race. Why should I have treated her different?

I have meet women that do the job better than some men.

Life isn't fair. We all know that. But WE don't need for life to be fair for life to be good. Want it? Go get it. Don't like it? Change it.
