That’s an easy 5 grand, especially now that they’ve switched from 22 to 410. I think they offer some kind of govt kickback if you switch that takes some of the sting out. I found an identical 14 seer R22 and replaced it. My uncle is an hvac man, so I helped him install and saved at least $1500 if not more.

 

Yeah was going to try it myself but it’s on the roof about 30’ up in the air and most of the ducting needs redone. It’s going to be a tough install. It’s currently 2 split systems AC only. Going to be adding gas heat and putting 1 unit instead I think?

We will see how it goes? Last bid was over $20k.
