Made it to Deacon's Corner near Winnipeg from Hearst today. Got picked up and brought home. 2900 miles in 5 days. Funny how I have to give notice to get a half decent truck and miles.

Had I been given 2900+ a week last year, I would have cleared $15,000 more than I did and be shopping for a house right now, but because I never said no, and just went where I was told, and just did my job like a good professional, rather than whining like a little baby, I got financially punished for it.

I'm really glad and proud that my time there is over. I'm moving on to bigger and better things and am excited about the future. I'm not looking back on what I did with much sourness, but trying to see what I gained from my four years and all the skills and experiences I collected while there.

Last trip next week. Leaving Monday, heading to Wisconsin with hay bales and reloading out of St. Paul, MN. Moving trucks, AGAIN, because they are putting a driver into a truck in serious need of engine TLC onto a B-train run through Ontario. Hopefully she gets looked at before he goes out and blows something else on Montreal River Harbour hill (coolant is just black with oil and jakes are shaking the truck).

I don't get how my old company makes money anymore, when they are tripping over stacks of dollar bills to pick up pennies on the street.

I'm DEFINITELY going to be in either Clearwater, MN at the Petro 2 or Fergus Falls, MN at the Big Chief on Tuesday night if anyone is going to be in the area. *cough* @cke @Tug Toy *cough*

Got to have one last good US meal before moving on.

Unless you’re locked up in the graybar motel. Nobody can hold you back except yourself.

Hang em all, hang em high. And reuse the ropes for the next ones.
If they can’t get it done in 2 terms- they ain’t getting it done.
1 term they retire, 2 terms they get hung.

This right here oughtta be required reading for all the youngins to the industry. We’ve all been there. Just need to be able to learn from others instead of putting lives in danger learning it ourselves.

Did you find a frame rail?

    I’ll say this in public.....
You get the parts together, and when things slow down, I will donate 5 days of my time to the tear down and rebuild of your truck, just tell the judge I like my coffee black. And I’m serious!!

A real smart man told me one time, “ The average person learns from their own mistakes, geniuses learn from the mistakes of others, and stupid people make the same mistake over n over (til it kills them)”

Thing is; mr foot on the dash kills erbody else instead.

My political platform is: “No more seatbelts: just a big ####ing spike in the middle of the steering wheel. Life is peachy- consequences are complete and immediate.”
