Hey @wore out , how did your version of a FASS system turn out? Are you happy with it

 

Could be.

Music is very subjective. A lot of what people find “good” follows a similar formula — there’s a reason why the music industry is a huge business. Or why people think certain artists “sell out.”

I’ve always liked stuff with a lean towards the instrumental side. The lyrics aren’t as important as what the guitar or drums are doing. Naturally modern rock, at least what’s on the radio, is out... and I tend to find myself driving with more instrumental stuff.

I listen to just about everything so I can’t really judge anyone for having a different taste then myself... I don’t have a specific
Genre I cling too...

I listen to pretty much everything when it comes to music. Classical, Blues, Rock. Metal..etc. etc. I did stop listening to the radio a few months ago because I got tired of hearing the same songs over and over and over and over and over again.

It is certainly a subjective thing. For me it doesn't have to be ground breaking/ mind blowing instrumentally or lyrically. Some musicians have their bangers, and then their duds.. Often times I think there comes a point where retirement should be a thing because an artist has run out of canvas and is just throwing paint at random in order to stay afloat.

 

It's probably those Seven Strong Hairs. He's irresistible huh ?

 

Welp!

Guess I better crawl back to the truck. Had to finish it off with something on the light side.

Gotta strut over to Charleston tomorrow. 275 miles or so. And then hit Boeing Monday, drive down to Florida and help the movers load the Penske on Tuesday, drive all the way to Hendersonville before Thursday morning, and then get my ### back to work on Friday. Going home at the end of May to swap over all my licenses, renew Medical and maybe get my Passport...

I saw a video of Billy Joel on a talk show saying that same thing. The Host quoted Elton John as saying that he thought that Billy should keep recording. Billy interrupted by saying 'Maybe he should shut up ?' ..... It was funny.
