she doesn't look a day over 80

 

Ruthless looks really great for 102. I had no idea today was his birthday, did anyone know ?

 

It's not that. It's just that my plumbing system is kinda short. It's worse than eating Chinese food. I'm hungry again after every swallow.
I just can't seem to find anything that will really stick to my ribs.

Is that your dad’s mum? Tell her that she is the exact same age as Olivia de Havilland. She might get smile from that.

Mothers mother.


She spent 55 years married to my grandfather. He did not let her work, or volunteer for fear she would leave him. He moved her from manhattan to upstate. They lived in an area that is not rurally populated to this day. Separate from anyone, save my grandfathers sister whom he moved to the area to keep an eye on his bride. He was a mean man. He beat her regularly. They did not have indoor plumbing the first 20 years they lived there. She got her drivers license after he died. She flew on planes for the first time. She traveled the world. She loves to be around people and makes friends quickly. She came every Sunday with my mother all the years I was in prison. She wrote me letters every week. She prays for me every night.
Today would have been her 85th anniversary. She turns 102 on Wednesday.

She is a wonderful person through and through.
