The reason 10 micron filters are the standard is , because the injectors can be damaged by larger than 10 micron particles. Oil and fuel goes into injectors.

I run a Wix 33339 filter on my draw line 32 micron. And the cat 0749 filter on primer base 2 micron. On hard pull I only show 4 lbs of vacuum.

I run the 0749 CAT final and a FS1212 secondary. Also you gotta unhook the fuel restriction gauge if you have one with my set up. Those gauges are not meant to read pressure lol

@wore out I really enjoy your cat knowledge. Ive worked on some B,C,Peec, E's but never had much experience hot rodding one. They were on the never in this garage list from the oldman. He had a bad time once with a 1693 and hated them. I just never got further than services, water pumps, injectors and alot of oil leaks with them to learn more. I will say from the fleet and wrecker end. Its fricken hard to beat a Emodel. Certain pops just rollled over.

So @wore out you're not actually “separating” the air your just using an electric pump to keep the fuel constant at the pump inlet?

I saw a root beer brown ride on your companies Facebook page. It made me tingly.
