First thing I checked was the coolant gauge by putting it in water and bringing it to boil. It was correct.

Never checked the pyro gauge but it seems right cruising empty on flat ground. Just winds up quick pulling a hill loaded. Gotta drop 1 or 2 gears and keep the rpms up to keep the EGTs at 900 and turn the fan on to keep coolant ~200 - 210.

Couldn't tell you for sure. I sent to pump to the shop and did everything else while I was waiting.
Like a whole different woman after that.:tongue3:

Just saying I have seen mufflers with the cones inside rust, and fall down. Causing a restriction. I run what apears to be a muffler device and nothing inside. I could go on why I dont like pipes over 6inch and that they are more restrictive. But this aint the place for that and bed time is around the corner.

Well thats past me, I would try backing the timing down and maybe add some more fuel. But @wore out is the guy to advise this, not me. Im only good for general sheet on cats. Clean fuel, good lines, no restriction anyplace.

Pretty sure that’s what mine has by the looks of it. It’s under the cab and feeds straight pipes

Son of a gun ! Walked in this fuel stop here at Wicket and wow ! It's a dang grocery store, hardware store , drug store, with a subway and express western sizzling in it. Got the fridge stocked and cooked some hamburger on my George forman grill....life is good !

Is the muffler underneath ? Bout 26 in long ? Bet it has a baffle in the middle if so. Take it off and take a spud bar and punch it out. I'll bet it will cool right down after.
