One of those in Winchester, KY now too. Use to eat at them in Mobile, Alabama. Im thinking there is one in Spanish Fort, Alabama too across the bay.

I've heard that forever too. I always thought it referred to the fact a diesel's "throttle" is done by controlling fuel, not a butterfly on the intake. Thus getting "all it needs" for any rpm/load.
And @jamespmack when you put that lift pump together, Summit has a showroom in Akron and sells all the same stuff as Jegs. If you visit, leave some markers so the search party can find you when you get lost in there. I barely made it out of the one in McDonough once and had to go back in a few times to be sure. -
I need to be working on our own Jeep, not someone else’s Jeep but..... he’s a Freind.
Said hard to get out of 1st gear, and shifting up into 3rd or down shifting into 3rd it rakes the gears. Found 3rd gear shifting yoke had one finger broke.
Transmission has water in in the oil. He said it had been setting in a barn for a few years, most likely why the gears are rusty....?Last edited: Apr 29, 2019
Feedman, peterbilt_2005, Al. Roper and 13 others Thank this. -
I have a customer 1 block from Jegs, and have been to Summit. Im up by Norwalk, or Summit dragstrip. I completely understand exactly what your saying.

That was out mudding and in deep water and no one changed the oil. -
You know how it goes

Sounds like a solid purchase to me. The bar I was at last night had a few wild boars, I think a bear, and maybe one of the Meeses brothers over the mantle piece.
I’m not one for stuffed animals but some people enjoy the atmosphere or whatever. I’d like some fancy bar tap handles just because...
Feedman, Al. Roper, exhausted379 and 14 others Thank this. -
Lucky for me Summit is 60 mi away with Atlanta in the middle. NAPA warehouse 5 mi away used to be good, not so much anymore. Last time I was in there, I was getting tune up stuff for my 50 Ford. Kid said he couldn't look up anything older than 1980, and got a little hurt feelings when I asked him to go in back and send his Daddy out.Feedman, peterbilt_2005, Al. Roper and 16 others Thank this.

Thats fricken good right there. -
Your not worried that the weight of a moose head would damage the seals in the tap and cause a high restriction situation?
