Last trip for the old company. Running straw to Milladore, WI. In Abbyland for the night with my buddy (who's going to Birnamwood). Pretty ####ty day, but only light rain when it was falling. Snow back in Canada. Yuck!

Once I'm done here, it's off to St. Paul, MN for some rebar going back to Winnipeg. 60 footers.

Finally got a truck with a 63" high top, too bad it's my last trip. Really could have enjoyed a 389 with one of these. Autoshift works okay so long as you don't fight with it. Makes some odd decisions when slowing down with the jakes on.

Kind of glad I got it, should help a little with the transition once I start driving at the new place. Get used to not shifting myself before moving to an entirely new drive train and truck layout (already went for the stick and clutch a few times).

Wife has a headache. I suggested that she take a BC powder. She protested due to the taste. Then I remembered that her favorite drink has the same flavor. IMG_20190429_193543.jpg

You’ll be reaching for the clutch for a few months... I still occasionally do it out of habit at stop lights.

As far as “odd decisions”.... yes. If there’s a manual mode — use it. You’ll feel so much better.
