See here's the problem everyone wants to talk about how bad the rates are but when when someone wants to figure out how the hell we get better rates then it's a big secret and can't talk about that. Then it's criticize and make fun of the guy who's trying to learn more about the industry.

All I was curious about was how far on average a load that goes, is it 40 miles? is it 240 miles?. Obviously it pays well enough for him to put it on his trailer and haul it. I'm not trying to steal anybody's Freight, just wondered what rates on that side of the country were like.

 

BTW, it took me like eight minutes to get that out using Google Voice to Text while driving down the road.

@Humblepie you headed to Volvo in Byron center? If you can stay on the south side of grand rapids you can avoid most of the construction. Half the highways around town are tore up.

Yeah Alta equipment I think it is. I’m coming in on 31 to 196 to 89 to 222 to 131. I haven’t found Michigan 222 yet. Gonna have to spend some time finding it.
