She knows. She isn’t oblivious. She’s got a purpose for needling you. She knows that you are a capable driver and diligent at your duties. So, why is she doing it?

Have you ever met a woman in an abusive relationship? She cries to anyone who will listen about the treatment. But while everyone else on planet earth is trying to figure out why she chooses to tolerate bad treatment, she says, “Well, he can be sweet sometimes.”

That’s why she stay. She’s trained to wait for those times that he’s actually nice. When you have a travel agent that’s riding you and needling you and irritating you, they’re trying to train you to go out of your way to see the nice times. It’s a control thing. If someone can control your emotions, they control you.

As evidence, reread your last paragraph on this post. Now, I understand that you are about to walk. That’s not the issue. What you want to find out is how did she get you to this point. If you don’t figure it out, odds are it will happen again.

So you're saying you actually make more money being a company driver than you would having your own truck? They must be giving you an incredible salary. Interesting ...

So if that's the case, why not apply yourself and get with a reputable company, learn something instead of just standing there with your teeth in your mouth constantly complaining about every move this company makes. You call them ignorant and stupid, yet you keep working there. What's the point of being miserable? That makes no since.

I'm sure using a PM to ask said questions would prolly make seriously more amount of sense, and even then I'd consider that rude unless you're on that level of trust with someone. Your not even in the same part of the country.....sometimes that makes ALOT of difference. It's not always about rate per mile anyways.

 

Gotcha! Should be decent Weather now that this rain is moving out! The barrels are out but the crews have been held off! It’s mostly in the Kalamazoo area if you decide to end up going South on 131!

 

Guessing that’s why I’m routed the way I am then. Hopefully I’ll find a load, or at least a direction to head. GR sucks to be stuck for a weekend BTDT
