Ehh I'd have a stand up too if I had to actually sleep in it. I always liked a pop top 63" behind a flat cab just like you got.

 

Every time I walk into a HF to "look" or pick up a box of nitrile gloves, I end up walking out with 3 bags and something heavy.

 

Since you seem to appreciate old vs new. If you weld a piece of frame into an old p/u truck. Is it safe? Do you lose integrity of the steel? Will this work? It’s about 2’ at the rear. Anybody can advise. I don’t know how to post solo

FLC is just as cool as any w9 or 359 out there in my book, you dont see em much. Someday I'd like to have one as well
