Truing tires can help squeeze out the last miles on tires that have been chopped up due to an alignment or suspension problem that's been corrected. Sacrifices some rubber to end an odd wear problem from continuing. Problem is nobody wants to spend the labor and buy and maintain the truing equipment since it's sort of a lost art in the days of same day shipping and manufacturing advances.
Truing cheap, Chinese tires will be a temporary fix at best. My limited experience is the casings are crap. Sometimes from the get go, other times from touching a pot hole or curb that wouldn't harm a better tire.blairandgretchen, SAR, SL3406 and 17 others Thank this. -
I remember some spacer that you could put over the threads to center the rim. It wasn't these but that was something close.SAR, PoleCrusher, cke and 13 others Thank this. -
