I just wanted to make sure I thanked it for the right reason.

 

Ol' Blue Persuasion don't like much being ready to get under a load now

 

Just got a phone call from the frac crew sand man. Said hold the guys up at the truck stop, we gonna shut down after this stage for the weather we know is coming. First time I’ve seen that.

 

I don’t haul heavy but do my share of off road driving. I’ve found that I really like BFG ST244 steers and DR444 drives. They last longer than Chinese, but still not super expensive. Drive tread pattern works well on blacktop and still decent (but not great) in mud.

I used to really like General drives but have never run their closed shoulder drives. For what I do I want to stay with a closed shoulder, I guess what got me on the Chinese drives was when the casing credit fell to nothing due to everyone going to new Chinese tires instead of caps. I think I may take @sawmill recommendation and give a set of Goodyears a try. Southern tire mart has a deal on some. Mine doesn't hop bad but I also remember when it was as smooth loaded at 95mph as 5 mph.
