Worms is meat too.
My lady periodically brings up some documentary she saw that was talking about “Micro stock” being the solution for world protein deficiencies. Micro stock is bugs. The documentary talked about how it’s big in third world countries already.
Just “food for thought”.
You know if you had a choice between eating bugs and dying of diseases that have been extinct for 50 years in most places, or taking a long walk across the desert n maybe getting locked in a climate controlled facility with running water and 3 meals a day.... pert easy to see why people do it.Last edited: May 8, 2019

Guy that runs the shop I use puts those on all his trucks. He also sells them so buys in bulk and gets a good price. Says he uses them because they wear like iron. I had him put a set on my son's Frieghtliner I've since got rid of, and so they did wear pretty well for me too. Another first-hand mention of a good choice and a great value IMO. Goodyear is a whole lot closer and got more stores around the country than he does, so I usually just buy what they sell instead.
If I had to guess, you'll like 'em well enough. They improved the top line tire (Endurance LHD) about 2 yrs ago. I've got them on both my trucks and they're better than the G505's that came off. Quieter, better traction on the slick stuff, and seem to be wearing a lot better and more even than the 505's did. According to the manager at my local store, who gives me the impression he knows what he's talkin about, says GY "demoted" the 505 and renamed it "Marathon" when the new Endurance line came out. So keep that in mind and maybe ask which one your deal is on.
FWIW he also said the old 572's (deep lug) are still around and same good tire as they always were.
Edit to add: I was too wordy. If their giving you the deal on the Marathons, I wouldn't.Last edited: May 8, 2019

Just a name lol... a roadside hotdog stand that has continued to expand. Nothing to see gangs of bikers and tourist there, along with many locals.

My first stop today has their own truck to shuttle product back and forth from whse to plant. I look over and notice the front right bumper is missing and the steer wheel is covered in oil. Whatever they hit punched a hole in the hub cover and almost all the oil is gone.
I explained what happens to that wheel assembly once it runs out of oil and heats up, and how unfortunate it would turn out on the two lane highway they run with no shoulders. Must have given them a sense of urgency, they are on the phone trying to find a nearby shop.7-UP, SAR, OLDSKOOLERnWV and 21 others Thank this.
