Where is everyone #5

Finally got my Indiana permit at like 10 am today.

They decided to have some fun with me - I get to take 930 through town from east to west in Ft Wayne. Guess they believe I need the shifting practice and they are probably right.....

Sitting on 31 north of Indy til morning.

Had to fire a pilot car driver today because apparently he didn’t have a car to pilot from - maybe one of the dumbest conversations ever.

Those Shepard boxes are ‘spensive. Edit- oops, didn’t see it was your rad- they’re cheaper than a steering box at least?

Had to point out that they were wrong, the violation/warnings were bogus and get a reprint on the inspection, but ended up with some stickers.

Not a fan of pilots, but at least the view is nice.

 

I like those shows like triple D but I wonder sometimes if they’re as good as they seem. There’s a BBQ restaurant in the Dayton area, fire department themed place north of 70 west of 75. Its was on some tv show and it looked great, we went there and it was terrible, I’ve had better BBQ at a gas station in the south.
