I should add that it was very nice of the owner of this trailer to let me use it.

It is an Eager Beaver 55 ton. If I were to buy a new trailer, it would not be an Eager Beaver.

 

I'd frame that picture and hang it on the wall right across the desk.

And let the kid drive it....ya know his britches is itchin'...

 

That's good stuff!! Had this conversation with Wore and a few others here. I want to load beefs sometime just to try it! Your ride looks right at home under there!!

 

He drove it home tonight. He'll probably have his fill of it before long!

 

I love this feeling of exhaustion brought on by enjoyable work. Makes me feel like I've accomplished something today. And working directly with the Ag industry makes me feel like I'm contributing to the growth of my home province.

Loaded Brandon this morning, delivered in Gilbert Plains, shot over to Bloom and ended up in Waskada for the night. Paper log or not, I'm not going anywhere if I have a hard time balancing in the hoppers to sweep and can barely keep my eyes open when I move the truck out of their yard for the night.

Moved 190,000 lbs of MAP today. Apparently some of these customers out this way use anywhere from 1.3 to 1.5 million (yes million) pounds of this granulated fertilizer a SEASON.

It has treated us pretty well so far. It is getting fitted with GPS next week.
