Don't think I've ever seen you talk so much, ya dun good, lol.

Just speaking for myself, I think a lot about the past because of all the good memories. Don't know if I really dwell on it but I do think about it often. Back when I was truckin, old friends, family, jobs, the military, it seems things were so care free up till about 10 yrs ago or so and life is so complicated anymore. A lot of it is politics, technology, everybody and their brother is in your pocket for money, sports are different, my family is different, the way we go about our daily lives is different, we have watch what we say and who we say it around, etc., etc., etc., just changing times I guess.

I've had a very busy, extraordinary, fun, interesting life. I've gotten to do more that a whole bunch of people in this world will ever get to do and seen pretty much the whole world, a couple of times, and this beautiful country of ours because of truckin, I'm a VERY lucky man! And in my present life I've managed to make a few friends here too.

The past is already made memories, the present is making memories that someday in the future I'll be thinking about and think how good it was back then, lol.

North of I-90 (Albany & upward) Parallel to the confines of I-87 & I-81..... Poughkeepsie wishes they were 'Upstate', but they can suck it.... Truly tho, such a broad term.... I've heard people from Syracuse & Buffalo say 'I'm from Upstate.'....... No you aren't; you're just not from NYC.....


So, a bit of education:

New York's Prison System. (I'm a Vermonter, guys)

My brother was in the 'Downstate' Pen.


He was moved to Malone.




Upstate / Downstate is Prison lingo. Anyone who hasn't been, or hasn't had family go in - doesn't know what they're talking about.

 

I may have to pull out the boxing gloves. She's not watching the HMC but she doesn't like hockey and she's camped out on the couch. Guess this is one of those times when I put my foot down and let her know who the King of the castle is, who rules the roost, who wears the pants in the family!
