What's a home screen?

 

Especially if you can find an unattended diesel tanker.

 

I saw the snowbirds in the 70’s they put on a terrific show. By far more daring than the angels. Unfortunately I was 50 yards from the crash at Ramstein AFB 88 when the Italian force collided in mid air and a plane zoomed into the crowd. Back then they allowed the public to line up 20 yards from the runway. I no longer attend them.

 

It was snowing like a mofo last night. Nothing on the ground thankfully.

I saw youtube of that. 50 yds...yikes....I bet you stood stock still then afterward it must have set in what a close call that was. Wow.

Maybe I'm calling it by a wrong name??

 

Our squadron lost no one. The set up just 25’ next to us lost everyone. My most eerie recall was how many abandoned vehicles were on base and off base on the side the road left for weeks. Over 100 people were killed. If the plane that hit the people had clipped his right wing instead of his left wing we would’ve gotten it Always have felt very blessed.

 

Days like this I miss ole Gary.
