I truly thank them for teaching me many of the things I know. My first experience with lapping valves was on a 4 cyl Buda Engine. Was mounted on a 22W Bucyrus drilling rig. Learned to pour babbit in the jackshaft of a 21W from the 1940’s. Friction drive Rig, didn’t have gears and clutches.

 

It is a direct part swap. Eliminate the middle bracket. Mine were in bad shape so I put the new style on

 

@rank a newer 22W from my R&L days. That’s me running the rig..... I was 19..... my boss Roger on top the casing, he was holding the cable and telling me what the bit needed. Sorry for rambling again....

Those aero skirts also increase fuel economy and therefore lower emissions. The illegals are able to breathe easier meaning you can fit more into vehicles in confined spaces. Some of those illegals end up at Mexican restaurants on the east coast serving steak and chorizo.
