I took my mom out shooting a few years ago. I've got a 12 gauge with a 32" full choke barrel. Mom's maybe 120 lbs at most. Firing 2-3/4" heavy load shells she never fell over or anything. First time shooting too. She didn't care much for the force from the stock into her shoulder though.

My sister and I did some trap shooting one time. Gave her my pistol grip 12 gauge to try. She's a smaller girl too and I bet she could have one-handed it with 7/8 ounce 2-3/4" target loads.

Are people really this ignorant one of the most powerful handguns out there I own one , so I’m speaking with experience. Several other videos one is deleted the woman was killed. Just senseless

 

Just south of Circleville on my way down to Beckly and Lewisburg. I appreciate everyone's concern! It was definitely an experience! Southbound 23 is still shutdown with power lines down all over the road.

 

I've put a few dozen rounds through a .44 Ruger. Sure it kicks but I really don't see how it'd have enough kick to overpower the average person like you see in those videos.

 

.500 S&W sure has serious recoil. For every video of stupidity there are 10+ showing the proper way. I had already shot my Uncles before I purchased. It does kick hard

 

Never shot anything that powerful. 1911's and the .44 are the most powerful handguns I've played with. Once Numbnuts gets voted out in October I'm going to probably get a 1911 for myself. Just paranoid that fool is going to ban them before he gets the boot.
