We missed out on the worst of it. They started to the Northwest of us, up by Hays and ended over by Lawrence. We sent our Urban Search & Rescue guys to Lawrence/Linwood last night to help up there.
I spent the day in the shop and didn't realize the weather had gotten so out of hand.

 

No it wasn’t me. I’ve never met the guy.

 

He is asleep using my leg for a pillow/motion alarm. He thinks I might get away I think

 

If that dang nabbit sand hauler didn’t say anything about the rain it would be as dry as the Sahara desert right now!!!!

I'm ready for it all to be over, I'm sick of having to watch the weather every night for 2 or 3 hours. I feel for the people that are getting flooded and still no end in sight, losing everything, the farmers, I can't imagine. It's been raining here for the past hour and it looks like we might have another hour or so of it.
