You might need to post a pic or two there @Oxbow
Might find somebody around here that can’t live without it.
To a lot of folks, any pre 2000 379 that runs and drives is worth more than that.

A friend of mine, company driver that's been with the company since 1999, was driving down the road and had a big plastic bag blow in front of the truck. Full lockup. Another driver I know that came on in 2009 had his lock up suddenly without warning. Both drivers with spotless records. Both of them nearly wrecked. They had to bring the trucks in and disconnect the cattle prods.

He probably thought because there was a CAT tag on the bumper he didn't have to worry about the motor, lol.
I know he's sittin in a gravel parking lot but that thing sure looks like it's got the leans to the front drivers side.

Almost done with Monday here... sposed to get 12" of snow Wednesday.... realized about an hour ago I double booked Thursday :/ gonna have to push things around with customers when they start waking up.
Hoping I see a raccoon in the havahart trap I set up before I left yesterday.
Natural remedies include ammonia "they can't stand the smell" (one of the two was using the bowls of ammonia I put out Sunday nite like hair tonic) and mothballs "the fumes are fatal" (sure looked like they were juggling them and playing table hockey w them by where I put lots of them vs where I found them yesterday am).4mer trucker, Crusader66, Tug Toy and 10 others Thank this. -

But Six, if we don’t add all these cattle prods to our fleet trucks, we’ll have to change our business model to include hiring people that have common sense, and that means actually paying them a living wage and treating them like humans.
So it goes without sayin we’re gonna keep adding these “safety features”.4mer trucker, Crusader66, Tug Toy and 10 others Thank this.
