Well I hate to say it but we're thinking about buying some vans. I don't know much about it.....the ones we've ran were preloaded groceries. I do know we can load ten miles from the house outbound. Don't know what we're gonna do for sure.

    Hitches are #####es.
For a real trick leave an extension ladder hanging out the back of your truck bed in the dark...

If it makes money hook it n book it.

Welp, I'm not trying to toot ma own horn but I did ma good deed for the week. Another trucker spun out in front of me this morning. We were on skinny two lane in PA. He was kicked off the toll road, I don't like paying tolls lol. Hooked a 3/8" chain to my DOT bumper and his tow hook. I only have 6500 lbs on the deck so wasn't confident. It wasn't the best plan but it worked, got him up that first hill, to where it was flat. A snowplow passed us plowing our lane, we figured he'd be ok, so unhooked. Nope spun out right there. ####. Back up and rebook. The next one was long, 2-3 miles maybe? Low gear all the way. Got him pointed downhill and he was able to go this time.

So the point to this is I learned from this: Someone had lit a flare and put it at the top of the first hill, that was smart and should've been my first step. Neither of us had a tow strap. Not one single person stopped to help or direct traffic. Super singles suck in the snow. Know where your tow hook is and how to install it.

Shoulda seen his face when he tried to pay me and I refused :D Just glad it worked, and got him safe somewhere, I know y'all do the same when it's yer turn to help

Abbyland was great. I was disappointed I showed up too late to go to the Mexican place, pictures looked really good. Got the unload off nice and quick then hit three delays on the I294 heading to Chicago.

Then when I get to the shipper an hour early, some genius dumped a trailer and load right in front of the entrance gate. Woo. Oh well, I'm ready to stay the night here then heading back home first thing tomorrow.
