I put a new transmission in this Pilot about a year ago. It has a shudder going into lockup around 45 mph under light throttle which is unavoidable under certain driving situations. I’ve replace several pressure switches, today I replaced another solenoid, but it still persists. I’ve got a few more to swap that are a pain to reach, and I need to drain the fluid and switch out this Dexron 6. It might be the fluid is too thin for this transmission, I hope so.

I changed the oil since it’s due and swapped to Amsoil 5w30 and filter. The freakin filter was on tighter than I remember and I couldn’t find my filter wrench, finally did and got it swapped. Then I did a 3x transmission fluid drain and fill on my wife’s Accord since it’s past due. Need to do plugs, flush the coolant and a few other little things before we head to the Blue Ridge Mountains end of June on vacation.

She’s like @sawmill daughter, very forgetful when I remind her to get things done so I have to make it happen in a two car garage filled with kids junk. I don’t mind, it’s just a tough environment to work in.

  9. @stwik it's an act of Congress to change and fix yota trucks. 4cyl not bad, but the 6cyl is a pain. I have first hand knowledge. Relative is a Toyota guy,. You name it he has it Toyota.

When I called the parts store, I started off and said “I’m a moron, I’m the dumbest car owner alive.” Guy at the parts store interrupted and said “what year is your Bustang?”

I said sir, only a bonafide homo or chick would drive one of those and then I hung up.
